  • 5/5 from Joyce, attended Jul 2024: I had wanted to try Lino cutting for a while and I saw the workshop whilst browsing online. The venue was good - plenty of parking. The teacher - Kirsty - was excellent. Very well prepared and the workshop well presented. All materials were provided, we were just asked to bring an apron. We were told all about the processes involved, what we would be doing and how to use the tools and materials being used. There were lots of pictures, photos, samples etc, for us to look at and to choose what we would like to do, I chose a very simple design as I had not done anything like this before. Some of the others drew their own designs from photos on their phones or magazine pictures. Everyone produced very different pieces of work and they were all stunning. Most of us fell in love with Lino cutting and I certainly intend to do more - hopefully at The Hive. The class was excellent value for money. We weren’t rushed and we had quite a few samples to take home.
