It was very interesting to know what goes into candle making. I brought it as a gift for my sister, who loves candles. She thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Far more than I expected from an introductory course. The atmosphere was relaxed, fun and friendly, but everything was very professional with excellent preparation and provision of equipment, and attention to safety. I was also really impressed by Pauline's communication beforehand, detailing location and nearby carparks and parking information. Snacks and drinks were provided and the home-baked cake was delicious, thanks Pauline's mum! A great value experience, which I would highly recommend to anyone interested in candle making. I can't wait to get started on putting my new skills into action.

Loved learning something new and how various different types of candles are made with different kind of wax and wicks. Everybody’s turned out so beautiful and you get such wide variety of bits to take home with you; not just candles, but wax melts too! Pauline was super helpful and patient with us, even if we did a step wrong. I found this very therapeutic and will look into bringing my mother back here as I know she’d be interested too!

It was a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Can’t wait to do another class with Bonita Candles. Cheap parking is only a few feet away. All instructions for the class and directions are very clear. Communication was great.

Despite a last-minute venue change to a smaller space, they navigated the challenges with ease and professionalism. A special mention goes to the delicious cake baked by Pauline's mom, which was the perfect finishing touch to a wonderful day. It had a brilliant balance between being informative while also being relaxed and fun, and definetly something I would do again. Pauline's passion really shone through and the way she explains things is really good and engaging. She has a great way of making people comfortable and a room full or 10 or so strangers feel like friends. Had no issues with safety as Pauline was on it. The venue was great, there were minor hiccups with equipment being in another room but for me didn't take away from the experience at all. Left the workshop with 5 types of candles, a desire to try and make some of my own at home and a smile! Thank you for a wonderful session!
