What you'll do

Heading off to university soon? Do you need to up your cooking game as part of your prep to move away from home? Learn all the cooking skills you need to cook for yourself in halls for the first time at this five-day cooking course in London.

Guided by your expert cooking teacher, you'll learn how to prepare and cook some simple and delicious student-friendly meals, using a range of traditional recipes and culinary techniques.

These London cooking classes are designed for beginners and include demonstrations and plenty of hands-on learning. An emphasis is made on affordable eating, which is essential for when you're budgeting at university. Get the culinary know-how you need at these cooking workshops and give yourself a wonderful start to an independent student lifestyle.

This five-day intensive, informative and extremely fun and social course will transform you from a cooking novice to a confident cook! Each of the five days of your cooking course includes two demonstrations, guiding you through the recipes you'll be cooking throughout the morning and the afternoon. Every day you'll cook your own two-course lunch to enjoy, plus lots of additional meal prep which you can eat whilst you're there or take home with you.

As part of your cooking course, you'll learn how to cook without a cook book, guided by fun, warm and professional teaching. You'll also learn useful organisation methods and be shown how to prep your meals in advance. You'll gain skills on budgeting, cooking with left-overs to avoid waste and you'll also get the chance to enjoy some wine tasting!

By the end of your cooking course experience, you'll be able to head off to university with some absoluely delicious recipes under your belt, and a host of new cooking skills to ensure you'll eat well throughout your studies.

Course timings
Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm (lunch included)
Friday 9am – 4pm (breakfast and lunch included)

This course is suitable for the following dietary requirements and allergies on request: Vegetarian, LF and GF. Time restraints mean that meal alternatives will not be covered in the demonstrations.
