What you'll do

If you consider yourself a bit of a whiz in the kitchen but want to level up your knowledge, this intermediate cooking class in Wandsworth is for you. Learning from The Avenue's expert chefs, the courses cover everything from knife skills to dish presentation, so you can bring a professional touch to your kitchen creations.

With demonstrations in both the morning and afternoon to get you started, you'll learn the techniques to cook a delicious lunch to enjoy, as well as other small dishes throughout the day. During each session, The Avenue's fun-loving professional chefs will always be on hand to help you, to ensure you're happy and gaining confidence in the dishes and techniques taught.

This set of London cooking classes is designed to teach an understanding of food rather than just following a recipe, so by the end of each class you won’t just know how to cook each of the dishes taught, but you will also leave with newfound confidence in how to apply your new skills and presentation tips to other recipes. Whether you're joining in for the full week or just coming along for the day, you'll leave with a new menu of techniques and tricks to bring a wow factor to your daily cooking.

As this is an Intermediate class, you'll need a good amount of kitchen knowledge; ideally, you'll have completed our Basic Course first. If you're not sure, please feel free to contact us before booking.
Vegetarian, low-fat and gluten-free dietary requirements can be catered for on request, but time restraints mean meal alternatives will not be covered in the demonstrations
