What you'll do
Celebrate your next team building event, hens party or birthday with your own handmade Italian feast! Guided by chefs at La Cucina Caldesi in London, you and your private group will learn how to make pizza and desserts to enjoy.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the chef, who will provide you with a Caldesi apron to wear during the class (and take home as a keepsake) and offer you a glass of Prosecco or cappuccino, depending on the time of day, and some nibbles.
This class will begin with a demonstration on how to make pizza dough from scratch, followed by everyone making dough in pairs. While the dough rises you will prepare an antipasti dish, salad and a dessert. With a mix of demonstration by the chef and hands-on by yourselves, the next (usually) two hours will be dedicated to making your meal in a fun and relaxed environment, perfect for beginners.
When the pizza dough is ready, everyone will prepare their own pizza with a variety of toppings, then sit down and enjoy what they've made with wine or a chilled beer. Upon leaving the school we are happy to provide you with takeaway boxes should you wish to take home some of the food, and a full recipe booklet will be emailed to you within 48 hours of the class.
Dishes selection: pizzas with a plethora of toppings, antipasti dish, salad and one dessert.
Team building and competitive cooking:
Any of our group classes can be given a fun, competitive edge. Teams will be judged not just on the flavour of the food but on presentation, timing and communication.
The chef will present a prize, chosen by you, to the winners. Ask for a list of prizes, such as signed cookbooks, homemade Italian biscuits and wine, when requesting your class or communicating with La Cucina Caldesi.
Please note: Pizza classes are not suitable for guests affected by Coeliac disease.
