What you'll do
Discover how to cook an Italian meal with all the indulgence but less of the carbs at this hands-on cooking class for private groups in London! Perfect for hens parties, team building activities or other special events, this beginner-friendly class is a great way to have fun and bond with your group.
In this workshop, you'll discover how to cook with less carbs while still enjoying the flavours of Italy. This class is designed to boost your group's energy, vitality, concentration and mood. You'll get hands-on experience preparing a variety of low-carb dishes that are not only good for your health but also practical to recreate at home.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the chef who will provide you with a Caldesi apron to wear during the class (and take home as a keepsake) and offer you a glass of Prosecco (or cappuccino, depending on the time of day) and some nibbles. Then the fun part begins, with a mix of demonstration by the chef and hands-on cooking, the next (usually) two hours will be dedicated to making your delicious low-carb dishes.
Once everything is cooked and ready, sit down to enjoy your meal with a glass of wine or cold beer. Immerse yourself in the joy of cooking and take away exciting new skills and fond memories of this unique experience. Upon leaving the school we are happy to provide you with takeaway boxes should you wish to take home some of the food, and a full recipe booklet will be emailed to you within 48 hours of the class.
Dishes selection: any four dishes from the low-carb menu which includes dishes such as pizza, lasagne, chicken tagliata, vegetables "al cartoccio", and poached pears.
Team building and competitive cooking
Any of our group classes can be given a fun, competitive edge. Teams will be judged not just on the flavour of the food but on presentation, timing and communication.
The chef will present a prize, chosen by you, to the winners. Ask for a list of prizes, such as signed cookbooks, homemade Italian biscuits and wine, when requesting your class or communicating with La Cucina Caldesi.
