What you'll do
Looking for fun things to do in London for your next hens party, team building event or other special occasion? Learn how to cook the wonderful street food of Italy at this hands-on class with La Cucina Caldesi!
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the chef, who will provide you with a Caldesi apron to wear during the class (and take home as a keepsake) and offer you a glass of Prosecco or cappuccino, depending on the time of day, and some nibbles.
The chef will then introduce himself and the assistant, as well as present the recipes that will be prepared during the event. Our chef will guide the team through making delicious recipes garnered from the Caldesi travels around Italy.
This class offers a combination of cooking, creating and eating that will transport you to the streets of Italy. Your group will be invited to relax together and enjoy beer, wine and street food as the dishes are ready. Upon leaving the school we are happy to provide you with takeaway boxes should you wish to take home some of the food, and a full recipe booklet will be emailed to you within 48 hours of the class.
Dishes selection: Choose any five dishes from the street food menu which includes dishes such as salad, frittata, mini pizzas, bruschetta, patties, and desserts. Your teacher will share these with you prior to the class.
Team building and competitive cooking:
Any of our group classes can be given a fun, competitive edge. Teams will be judged not just on the flavour of the food but on presentation, timing and communication.
The chef will present a prize, chosen by you, to the winners. Ask for a list of prizes, such as signed cookbooks, homemade Italian biscuits and wine, when requesting your class or communicating with La Cucina Caldesi.
