This cooking class in Edinburgh is the perfect place for beginner chefs to learn how to cook meat-free meals. Whether you're a vegetarian on the hunt for some dinner ideas that are nutritious and delicious or you just want to expand your cookbook, this is the place to be.
You'll be getting comfortable with the pots and pans inside the Edinburgh School of Food and Wine kitchen that has everything you need. Watch some interesting demonstrations of how to chop, sizzle and plate up some veggie recipes before you give it a go yourself.
There is a bounty of delicious fruits and vegetables across Scotland during every season. You will be exploring some of these incredible options, learning how to transform them from a simple accompaniment into the centrepiece of a delectable dish.
By the end of this class, you'll have loads of new knowledge on how to cook vegetarian dishes you love, as well as some inspiration to take home to your own kitchen.

ESFW opened our doors in 1986, in the tranquil Newliston Estate near Edinburgh. We have been teaching all aspects of cookery throughout this time and have won many awards, most recently the Cookery School of the Year in November 2020.
We cover a wide range of courses, covering every age and ability. Some of our most popular courses include professional chef training, leisure classes, kids' cooking classes, gin tastings, sushi nights and many more! Our classes are fun and informative, with the majority always hands-on for all students.
