What you'll do
Get ready to light a fire in your culinary heart with this fun open fire cooking class in East Lothian.
Guided by your expert open fire cooking teacher, you'll gain all the skills and know-how you need to master your favourite outdoor dish. Choose to make the following tasty BBQ favourites:
- Homemade burgers (includes learning to mince your own meat).
- Homemade sausages (using a sausage machine)
- Butterfly lamb.
- Marinaded chicken thighs and wings.
- Beef brisket.
- BBQ flatbreads.
- Pork Loins
Get BBQing with your loved ones, friends or teammates and cook some delicious food on an open fire whilst you learn new skills to take your BBQ dishes to the next level. You'll have a great time as you cook and you'll finish up your class with some perfectly grilled food to enjoy in the sunshine.

The Yarrow Cookery School is a family-run organisation founded by Richard and Sophia. The aim of the school is to share the joy of cooking with all ages and abilities in a simple and personalised way, using seasonal, local and sustainable produce!
Having both studied at the Orchard and Ballymaloe cookery schools as well as gaining experience working in the industry in a variety of hospitality settings, they both became keen to explore the next step and share their passion with others!
