  • 5/5 from Nicola Macvean, attended Aug 2026: Had a great time at the beginners guide to paint pouring and would recommend. The expert leading the course was excellent and had lots of great tips and advice on how to pour the paint to make each item different. I made 3 canvases and 4 coasters and you also get to take away the rest of the paint pouring kit so you can try again at home. It's messy but very relaxing. Great fun!
  • 5/5 from Victoria Burchell, attended Dec 2025: Great afternoon learning how to paint pour - well worth doing!
  • 5/5 from Cati, attended May 2025: Only two of us at the Acryllic pouring paint workshop, but it was thoroughly enjoyable with plenty of enthusiasm from Ailidh, alongside very clear instructions all the way along. I really enjoyed it and will be on the lookout for further workshoips at Hobbycraft! Thank you!
  • 5/5 from Paula Cifuentes, attended May 2025: Ailidh was absolutely brilliant! We were taught 3 different methods of paint pouring and had lots of fun doing it. It was my first time ever doing something like this and now I'm absolutely hooked!
  • 5/5 from Joyce Waugh, attended Nov 2024: Ailidh was a great teacher. Good, fun class. The acrylic pouring kit we were given is very comprehensive. The only downside is that the class is held on the shop floor. We had spectators and other shoppers interrupting but still worth it.
  • 5/5 from Marjorie McAvoy, attended Sep 2024: 50th birthday celebration with a family group. Great fun, great tutor! Plenty of materials in the pack for workshop and to take home so great value for money too.
  • 5/5 from Heather Inglis, attended Jul 2023: Great introduction to pouring. Eileen was very friendly, helpful and gave me all the tips and advice I needed. Great value for money and art to take home!
  • 5/5 from Susan Davidson, attended Feb 2023: What an fabulous way to spend an hour. The teacher was superb and very thoughtful as to how she presented the class, giving lots of handy tips for when we try it at home. The pictures I did as part of the course were diverse and will look amazing hung on the wall. I was not expecting the size of the material pack that was given out as part of the course, but it gives me an ideal starter pack to continue my painting journey at home. Thank you so much.
  • 5/5 from Holly Morrow, attended Feb 2023: My mum and I really enjoyed this class and are very pleased with our pictures and excited to try more at home, thank you!
  • 4/5 from Fiona Tate, attended Dec 2022: I've never done an art class before, but I was immediately put at ease by the instructor, who was lovely. She guided me through three different pouring methods and was genuinely enthusiastic about how they looked. I was really pleased with the results. I really enjoyed the class. The fee included an art supply box so I felt it was good value for money and I got help to choose more items afterwards. Definite recommend from me
  • 5/5 from Victoria McCulloch, attended Sep 2022: The workshop was excellent. The artisan was knowledgeable and explained everything well. The paint pouring is great fun, and I've already done several more paintings since the workshop! I would highly recommend!
  • 5/5 from Helen Ford, attended Aug 2022: Great and interesting class. Ailidh was amazing as a teacher and taught me so much of the basics. Looking forward to doing some more paint pouring and trying some more workshops.
  • 5/5 from Susan Ryan, attended Jul 2022: Attended Ppring acrylic paint worship. Teacher was excellent putting me at ease - giving clear instructions and advice. Materials were good value for money and I had the chance to practice with them. Working area was set out appropriately. It was an excellent fun and interesting experience. Please do longer worships.
  • 5/5 from Maria Ballesteros, attended Jul 2022: We had a lot of fun in this workshop! We were provided with such a complete set of acrylic paint. The teacher was the sweetest girl! Thank you for this experience!
  • 5/5 from Isabel Pattie, attended Jul 2022: The tutor explained at the beginning what techniques would be covered and how the materials provided would be used. Examples were provided of the techniques and the tutor checked understanding regularly and whether or not there were questions. The area for the workshop could have been better signposted as other customers interrupted the workshop on a few occasions to ask about products in the shop. The materials did provide value for a beginners course, however, the cost of the workshops could be reduced by offering the paint pouring pack at a reduced price for those who wanted it, and having a communal set of paints for the workshop rather than everyone having an individual pack. This would also result in less waste. I was able to get an idea of the paint consistency, understand the techniques involved in paint pouring and see what the canvas would like with the the different layers of paint. I enjoyed seeing how the paint moved on the canvas and the effects. The tutor, Ailidh, had already explained these, therefore, it was a pleasure to achieve different effects. The tutor also made it clear that it would take time for the canvases to dry and I am looking forward to deeing what results.
  • 5/5 from Susan Torrance, attended Jun 2022: Wonderful 1:1 session with Ailidh (sorry if I have the wrong spelling!) on acrylic pour painting today. Extremely informative and such a lovely, cheerful and helpful girl. Away with extra canvases to make more works of art!
  • 5/5 from Mandy McMullen, attended Apr 2022: I was lucky enough to have 1:1 attention in my session. My instructor was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. She encouraged me to make mess and helped me clear up afterwards! I'd recommend this hour of fun to anyone - just be open to enjoying yourself. The kit provided is great value and well designed. I'd definitely recommend this course and I am looking for other crafts courses now.
  • 5/5 from Jane McWhirter, attended Oct 2021: Really enjoyed this Fluid Art Workshop. The teacher was very good and informative. The venue was fine. We had plenty room to lay out our materials. The premixed paints worked well and we were able to get cells to form in our art. I bought some extra paints to supplement the ones provided in the kit as I have a large project in mind!
