Immerse yourself in the world of Italian cooking in this pasta-making class in Leeds. You'll learn four fabulous fresh pasta recipes in a full-day extravaganza that will delight your tastebuds.
In this pasta masterclass, you will learn how to cook:
  • Tagliatelle with Mushroom Fricassee.
  • Lemon and Ricotta Tortellini.
  • Cacio e Pepe.
  • Ligurian-Style Pesto.
You will learn how to make pasta from scratch with expert guidance from your friendly teacher from Leeds Cookery School. You'll make your fresh pasta using the kneading and resting process and get to grips with the pasta machine to roll, fill, shape, and even dry your pasta for another day.
You'll enjoy a tasting session after the class where you can sample your teacher's version of each dish. Plus, sit down and savour your own tasty pasta dishes at lunchtime, surrounded by your fellow pasta lovers.
All ingredients and tools are supplied by your teacher. To support the cookery school's charity partner, Zest, your teacher kindly requests you bring three sizable (minimum 1L) food storage containers to take your food home in. It's a small effort that makes a big difference.
Please note: This class uses induction hobs. If you have a pacemaker fitted, you will need to email the teacher so the class can be adapted.

Across our range of classes, courses and events at Leeds Cookery School our teachers promote and talk about seasonal ingredients, local sourcing and the importance of eating ethically and sustainably. Our ingredients are sourced from Yorkshire and are sustainable wherever possible and we always use free-range eggs. We order small quantities to minimise wastage and always consider the food miles travelled by our ingredients.
As well as donating profits to Zest, Leeds Cookery School has committed to running affordable cooking activities throughout the year, in partnership with Jamie’s Ministry of Food Leeds and Zest’s Community Development Team. These sessions enable low-income families and vulnerable people to access basic cookery skills and cookery clubs that address social isolation.
