A great baking class for some fun family time! You'll learn how to bake a selection of delicious bread that kids will love making again at home.
Enjoy some time out to learn to bake with your littlies at this fun baking class in Leeds. You'll leave with some delicious baked goods to share at home. Choose from one adult with either one or two children from the ticket type. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
At this Leeds baking class, you and your kids will learn to bake a basic sweet bread dough. You'll be shown how to do this by Leeds Cookery School's resident chef and you'll watch a demonstration to learn how to turn your lovely dough into delicious cinnamon swirls and Yorkshire tea loaf.
You'll also be given lots of nutritional guidance, along with tips and health and safety advice for working with children in the kitchen.
Guided by your friendly and talented baking tutor, you and your kids will learn to bake:
  • Basic bun dough.
  • Yorkshire tea loaf.
  • Cinnamon swirls.
Please note:
This class uses induction hobs. If you have a pacemaker fitted you will need to email the teacher so the class can be adapted.
You'll have a great time mixing dough and learning about bread at this fun parent and child baking class, and you and your little bakers will take home everything you make to enjoy later or share with your loved ones!

We order small quantities to minimise wastage and always consider the food miles travelled by our ingredients.
As well as donating profits to Zest, Leeds Cookery School has committed to running affordable cooking activities throughout the year, in partnership with Jamie’s Ministry of Food Leeds and Zest’s Community Development Team. These sessions enable low-income families and vulnerable people to access basic cookery skills and cookery clubs that address social isolation.
