Pappardelle is a type of handmade pasta, very similar to tagliatelle but slightly wider. Learn to make this delicious pasta yourself with guidance from an expert Italian chef at this creative virtual cooking class.

Guided by your host Luca, you'll learn to make pasta from the comfort of your own kitchen at this virtual cooking class, following along with your teacher step-by-step.

You don't need a pasta machine to make parpadelle and although it looks super professional, your expert teacher Luca will show you how to achieve these gorgeous pasta shapes yourself using only a rolling pin and your triceps!

Although pappardelle is very common in central and northern Italy, it is in Tuscan cuisine that this pasta finds its greatest use, dressed with different sauces based on game meat. Some of the most famous pappardelle dishes are made with wild boar ragu and wild hare ragu. As it isn't easy to find these types of meat, you'll learn to make your parpadelle with another delicious and popular sauce made with peas, pancetta and mascarpone cheese.

Creamy and velvety, the sauce you make to accompany your handmade pasta will gladden any heart! Learn to make this tasty dish and treat yourself and your family and friends to some delicious homemade pasta. Once you've learnt how to make pasta at this online cooking class, you'll have the confidence and skill to recreate it independently for future meals.

You'll finish up this online Italian cooking class with lots of new knowledge on pasta making, as well as a creamy and delicious dish of parpadelle to enjoy!
