They are so delicious and irresistible that everyone will ask for a second round!
For these panzerotties, we will use the classic filling with tomato and mozzarella. However, they are very versatile and they can be filled with a variety of options. In fact, the imagination in the kitchen has no limits, so feel free to have fun using different fillings, from mushrooms to red peppers, roasted ham, ricotta cheese and salami, anchovies and olives, aubergines, and any other ingredients that you may like.
On the day of the beginner-friendly cooking class online, Luca will give you few guidelines about preparing the filling and how it should be before cooking the panzerotti, you just need to get the ingredients you prefer or alternatively just stick with the classic recipe.
Frying makes the Panzerotti Pugliesi golden and crispy on the outside and soft and stringy on the inside — it is a real treat for the palate.
