If you're looking to wow the guests at your next get-together, this five-day course will give you all the skills to expertly prepare fish and shellfish for the ultimate seafood experience!
Ideal if you have a love for seafood, the course primarily focuses on useful preparation skills, including cleaning, scaling and filleting. Under the guidance of an expert chef, you'll also cover sensational dishes for all dining occasions, as well as versatile stocks and sauces.
You'll also enjoy a seafood nutrition workshop to give you the tools you need to make informed decisions when incorporating seafood into your diet. Lunch and refreshments will be provided each day, along with recipes and technical notes, so all you need to do is turn up each week and learn some impressive new cooking skills.
During the course, you'll learn:
- How to select the freshest seafood.
- Knife skills.
- Pin boning.
- Prepare, fillet and cook both flat fish round fish.
- How to prepare molluscs, crustaceans and cephalopods.
- How to make fish stock and sauces.
