In this engaging workshop, you will learn the art of creating delicious Italian-inspired dishes – pizza and lasagne. Tailored to suit your dietary preferences, you can opt for vegan alternatives for both recipes. No prior experience is needed, as all ingredients will be prepped for you upon arrival.
What you will learn:
- PIZZA
- Discover the secrets to making perfect pizza dough from scratch
- Learn how to top your pizza with either vegan or meat toppings
- Baking your pizza to perfection
- LASAGNE
- Learn to create a flavoursome Ragu Sauce for lasagne (vegan or meat)
- Perfect the Bechamel Sauce for your lasagne
- Build and layer a scrumptious lasagne before baking it to perfection
Throughout the workshop, you will experience a hands-on session with these classic dishes, leaving you with newfound kitchen skills and a sense of accomplishment. Bring Tupperware to take home and enjoy your creations, as well as the recipes and techniques to recreate these dishes time and time again, impressing friends and family with your culinary prowess.

What to bring
- Ideally, bring a suitably sized glass Pyrex tray to bake your lasagne home with you (otherwise, I can provide one to bake the lasagne)
- If not bringing a Pyrex baking tray, bring some Tupperware/containers to take your Lasagne home with you after the session.
- Don’t worry about bringing anything to take away the pizza, I have pizza boxes
- Pen and paper for note-taking.

Cooking and my interest in food are literally my life! I've been cooking for 25 years professionally. I cook at Harborne Food School. I'm also the proprietor of my own food business and former Tour Chef to Wiz Khalifa, ASAP Rocky, Chevvy Woods, Rozi Plain, Bloc Party and Paramore.
As well as cooking for music tours, I have won plenty of culinary awards, including silver medalist at the World Culinary Olympics 2017 representing England in the Indian category and also achieved 3rd place in the prestigious UK Curry Championships 2023. As a Foodie, I've travelled to over 60 countries and lived in Malaysia, China and Spain and have gathered a wide repertoire of dishes that I would love to share with you.
Apart from a few accolades already mentioned, I feel a great passion for food history, origins of ingredients, and regional staples not only across Asia, but the world over. I love to cook and share my knowledge, and often learn a lot from my students too.
