This was an amazing workshop! I really feel like I had the full experience of creating glass objects from start to finish. There were only 4 of us at the workshop so Simon had time for each of us toThis was an amazing workshop! I really feel like I had the full experience of creating glass objects from start to finish. There were only 4 of us at the workshop so Simon had time for each of us to do pretty much every stage of our 3 objects. Not in this order - we picked up glass, twisted it, shaped it, blew it, sucked it (yes really!) added colour. No-one broke their pieces and I learned the hard way that colour makes a big difference to how the glass behaves when my bowl ended up a sculpture instead! :D It was amazing to work with such a hot material and really appreciate what professionals have to do. I received my 3 pieces in the post today and I am so delighted with them. My husband was astonished and very impressed. I am looking forward to using my jug for water to keep myself hydrated while working from home. The photos show some action shots as well as the examples on the metal table (what they "should" have looked like) and the actuals (what they actually looked like). + more
