• 3/5 from Miss S Dowen, attended Oct 2025: Our teacher was fab and a fun time was had by all, however a point of points that really should be addressed: the room lighting in the room was extremely poor (small wall lights only and no windows) meaning it was way too dark also this is sold as 'sculpt and sip'....no drinks provided in the cost so should actually be sold as 'sculpt'

Not much teacher interaction or direction and could have done with some more tools, maybe some shape/cookie cutters. Also the sip and sculpt is a bit misleading at least one free drink should be provided within the activity or should be called sculpt class really. Overall was ok but definitely overpriced don’t think I would do it again or recommend.

• 4/5 from Louise Broadhead, attended Jul 2025: I had great fun at the sip and sculpt class. Our teacher was really friendly and helpful. Everyone in the class had a good giggle. We were given plenty of clay, my only criticism would be the lack of tools, we all got the same 3 tools, perhaps could have done with rolling pins, other moulding tools etc. we all did a pinch pot and then were left to our own devices but if you’re not of a creative mind, I think you would struggle. Someone on the table next to us just had loads of pinch pots as they didn’t know what else to make. Overall it was great fun and I enjoyed it.

The teacher came round and offered support and advice to anyone. It was a small group but just about right so a chance to speak with other participants. Only downside is that the area within the bar is very dimly lit making it quite hard to see what we were doing. I did come home and smooth out a crease lumps and bumps that I hadnt been able to see at the time.

Don’t think it should be called sip and sculpt if there isn’t a drink provided in the price. To buy the drink, we had to wait in the long queues in the bar which took time from the session, we weren’t able to order from the room we were in so this could be an improvement for the future. Would be helpful if there were some inspo pictures to use as guidance as we were unsure of what to make.

The teacher and her assistant were nice enough but I think for the price it should be a little bit more interactive and engaging.

The lighting in pub was very dim and not good for a creative activity. I had good fun with my friend and the instructors were friendly, but they didn’t seem to know much about pottery.

We’d both never did anything like this before and felt that the teacher explained things well and was always there to help if we needed any additional support. The atmosphere and vibe was also really nice and we’d definitely go again.

Clay and tools were provided. They helped guide the class by showing how to make a pinch pot, but encouraged people to make whatever they wanted. Good value for money and definitely recommend! We enjoy having some creative freedom with the night.

All materials were provided as well as materials to transport our creations home. Great value for money thank you :)
