Everyone had a lovely time at the Hen Do, lots of laughs and there was a quiz at the end which we didn’t even know!! It was a great wee addition to the activity ️

Hannah who led the activity was fantastic, she was very bubbly, chatty and helpful when it came to giving us inspiration. We also had a quiz and we learned a few interesting facts about the male anatomy! The venue had a good atmosphere and was ideal for the class. The booking process was very straightforward and we were contacted before the event to check if we had any questions. I would absolutely 100% recommend this for a group activity ️️️️️ + more

Great class! So silly and a great hen do activity! Max done well to keep all 22 of us in creative flow and I loved the fact he judged them at the end and the winner got Prosecco! Nice touch! Everyone loved it!

The class teacher was amazing, he made sure we all had everything we needed and the bride had a laugh while painting. Be came round the room to make sure everyone was OK the whole time and that we had everything we needed. He even helped us hold a competition for the best painted penis at the end, and took lots of group photos to remember the class. Our bride loved it and all 27 of us left happy. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience! + more
Hen Party Ideas Edinburgh
On the lookout for new hen party ideas in Edinburgh? Forget a night on the town and give the bride-to-be a night she’ll remember forever! From gin-tasting experiences to flower crown workshops, vibrant paint and sip events to hands-on cooking classes, you’ll find a whole host of unique hen do ideas to suit everyone! With a wide range of foodies, artisans and crafters right here in the city, it’s never been easier to find new, fun Edinburgh hen party ideas. Whether it’s a one-off evening or you’re planning a jam-packed hen weekend, our curated selection of crafty classes will ensure there’s never a dull moment.
Fun hen do ideas in Edinburgh
The hen party, like most traditions, comes with its own set of expectations — party games, drinking and laughs with the girls are all part of the fun. But everybody’s different, and these traditions don’t always align with the bride’s lifestyle or interests, which is why our selection of craft workshops in Edinburgh make the perfect solution for non-traditional hen party ideas. Not only are they just as fun as a night on the town, but they offer the opportunity to really personalise the party for the lucky lady herself, and show her just how much she means to the people who know her best.
Remember how she was always doodling as a kid? Enrol in a life drawing class and really encourage those artistic inclinations! Is she an avid DIYer who’s always working with her hands? A pottery class is not only relaxing, but gives her some handmade ceramics to decorate her space with pride. The possibilities really are endless, and the memories you make together will last a lifetime — any of these hen do activities will bring all of you closer together, and let the future bride know that, no matter what married life may bring, she’ll always have her best friends by her side.
How to throw an incredible Edinburgh hen do
Of course, you don’t have to keep things entirely civilised! You can always think outside the box and combine creative and crafty hen party activities with more traditional style celebrations. A cooking class in Edinburgh would make a brilliant way to ease everyone into proceedings before moving on to some more rambunctious fun in the evening. With so many customisable classes and flexible teachers available, you’ll be able to create a unique hen party to suit everyone’s tastes.
It’s not just the bride herself you have to think about; every hen in the party is different! If you’re a mindful menagerie looking for some soothing sensations to help everyone relax before the big day, a tea-tasting experience would make an ideal antidote to the hustle and bustle of planning a wedding. Alternatively, if you’re after something a bit more lively for the pleasure-seekers among you, a cocktail making workshop would be a brilliant way of making sure everyone gets the VIP treatment while still picking up some nifty skills you can use to treat each other (and yourselves!) with later.
From bus-loads of friends and family to more intimate affairs, you’ll find Edinburgh hen party ideas to suit groups of all sizes. If the bride is keeping things low key with just a handful of her nearest and dearest, gin or whisky tasting sessions would make fantastic hen party ideas for small groups. For larger groups, why not take a look at a private paint party? Whether you’re focusing on the art or sipping while you paint, these ever-popular classes scale easily to groups of any size — after all, the more the merrier! No matter what your group’s size, tastes or skills, you’ll find a little something for everyone with our curated range of workshops in Edinburgh.
We’re here to help make your hen weekend amazing
We know how good it feels to nail the perfect hen party, so we’re here to help you get it right the first time. Got a great idea but need a venue? We can help sort that out! There are crafters and artists all over Edinburgh with beautiful spaces for you to use — get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.
Had a last minute cancellation and worried your plans might be ruined? Don’t fret! Many of our teachers offer last-minute bookings, so the big event can be back on track in no time at all.
With hen weekend ideas ranging from the traditional to the unique, you’re sure to find plenty of inspiration and hen party ideas in Edinburgh in our expertly curated selection. Now all that’s left is for you, your friends and the lady of the hour to have a wonderful, unforgettable time.
