In this hands-on session, you will discover how to make a beautiful dried floral wreath using a natural grapevine wreath base and an array of gorgeous flowers.You'll have the pleasure of choosing from a variety of vibrant blooms in lovely rainbow tones, and we'll guide you through the techniques to assemble them into a joyful decoration that you can cherish for years to come. No prior experience is needed, as you'll be shown every step, from selecting your flowers to the final assembly, ensuring a relaxing and creative experience.Once completed, you can display your beautiful creation inside in your favourite spot, or hang it on your front door to emanate lovely summery, floral vibes for all to see. The finished wreath will measure approximately 30cm in diameter.So gather your friends and come along for a fun morning of summer crafting, complete with refreshing tea and tasty treats. Hi I’m Amy and I am a textile artist and all round crafter. I set up The Edinburgh Craft Club from my studio in, you guessed it, Edinburgh, after graduating with a degree in textile design from Duncan Of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee, Scotland.When I say craft I don’t want it to conjure up the chintzy image of your granny's knitted toilet roll cover. My aim is to reclaim craft to be modern, relevant and even cool! Since 2018 I have taught over 4000 people in my colourful classes for novice crafters. So whether you want a new skill under your belt or a creative evening out with friends, we have a range of fun workshops to suit all abilities.I also make my own range of beautiful craft kits to be enjoyed at home. I design each kit from start to finish and have lots of experience in creating and writing projects that are easy to follow and complete. I am passionate about creating colourful craft projects and you'll never find me happier than when I'm in my studio coming up with new ideas.We are based at We Make Edinburgh, a workshop and studio space in the heart of the city.
