What you'll do
Whether you're looking for wholesome hen party ideas, a unique team building activity, or just some fun things to do in Edinburgh (and surrounding areas) with your besties, this trinket dish painting workshop is great fun for all!During this class, you'll be given a trinket dish pre-painted in your chosen colour and shown different techniques, inspiration, and examples to get your creative juices flowing. You'll then get to work on choosing colour combinations, deciding patterns, and applying the all-important gold leaf if you'd like a bit of added shine!The workshops can be designed to incorporate options such as decoration, drinks, and bespoke details to make the day as memorable as possible.By the end of this fun and creative class, you'll have a beautiful personalised home for your favourite trinkets and some newfound painting skills to boot!If you request a mobile event:In the lead-up to your workshop, we'll work together on the finer details to make this a tailored experience for you and your group. This workshop has been designed so that it can travel. So whether you have your own venue (this can be your house) or would like me to find one for you, I'll make sure the set-up is full of colour and personal elements to make it one to remember.

Pimpupyourplants is run by me Lou, a plant and colour obsessed design lover based in Edinburgh. Having studied Textiles Design, I went on to work as a fashion buyer and most recently, an events manager. Initially, PUYP was started as a fundraising project to raise money for ChooseLove but as the orders started to increase and I went on furlough, I realised what had started as a lockdown creative outlet, had turned into an exciting new opportunity. Fast forward and I’m now running PUYP full time! PUYP is an explosion of colour and that’s how I work, my mind is always thinking about colour combinations and making little swatches to hang around the house before I decide if I love it enough. Having worked in a ceramic painting cafe when I was younger, I've always had the dream that I would teach workshops again. That became a reality in 2022 and I've held workshops all over London and Edinburgh including for the likes of Rixo, Anthropologie and Selfridges!
