Gluten-free bread doesn't need to be heavy or lacking in flavour! Join our Chef Tutor for a very hands-on class making a selection of breads using the magic of combining yeast, GF flour, specialist ingredients, water, and salt to create your very own bread.
In this hands-on practical baking bread-making course, we will explore gluten-free bread making, incorporating savoury ingredients and shaping to create your breads. The breads we will be making include:
  • Focaccia
  • Seeded loaf
  • Soda bread
  • Artisan loaf
A light lunch is included along with bread to take home and plenty of tasting along the way. Please bring a container to take your bread home in. Tea and coffee are available throughout. Aprons will be provided.

Harts Barn Cookery School is all about cooking for all – all ages and skill levels are catered for, and we teach everything from banquets to basics!
We provide a huge range of regular classes, workshops, supper clubs and events plus we welcome group bookings, parties, corporate and private hire. All classes offer a hands-on element and focus on gaining practical skills and knowledge as well as being enjoyable!
We view cooking as an essential life skill. Our ethos of ‘cooking for all’ means that we offer classes that are accessible, practical, affordable, give confidence and are lots of fun. We believe in the ‘socialisation’ of food, bringing people together whether they are learning a new skill in the kitchen or sitting down and enjoying the soiree! As well as cookery classes we run regular events, pop up restaurants, a Hire-A-Chef service, and provide parties, corporate packages, chef demos and have a wonderful earth oven, fire pit and large courtyard area for outdoor cooking experiences.
