During this unique afternoon tea experience, you will learn how to rustle up a selection of high-quality cakes, pastries and petit sandwiches — from French macaroons, Pimms scones, orange madeleines to adorable cucumber sandwiches, this class is a real treat for the taste buds and the eyes!
Don't worry if you're not a dab-hand in the kitchen, this cooking class is completely beginner-friendly and is all about celebrating this quintessentially British foodie tradition.
After all the fun of making and baking, you will then expertly present your afternoon tea on vintage china (only the best for you!) before sitting down in the picturesque setting of the Apple Barn dining room to enjoy your sumptuous spread with a cuppa of your choice.
Whether you're celebrating a special occasion such as a birthday party or hen do, or you simply fancy treating your friends, family or yourself to a splendid afternoon, this afternoon tea experience promises to be a delicious affair!

Harts Barn Cookery School is all about cooking for all – all ages and skill levels are catered for, and we teach everything from banquets to basics!
We provide a huge range of regular classes, workshops, supper clubs and events plus we welcome group bookings, parties, corporate and private hire. All classes offer a hands-on element and focus on gaining practical skills and knowledge as well as being enjoyable!
We view cooking as an essential life skill. Our ethos of ‘cooking for all’ means that we offer classes that are accessible, practical, affordable, give confidence and are lots of fun. We believe in the ‘socialisation’ of food, bringing people together whether they are learning a new skill in the kitchen or sitting down and enjoying the soiree! As well as cookery classes we run regular events, pop up restaurants, a Hire-A-Chef service, and provide parties, corporate packages, chef demos and have a wonderful earth oven, fire pit and large courtyard area for outdoor cooking experiences.
