British cherry season is here! Marvel in the flavours of locally grown Herefordshire cherries as you join Harts Barn Cookery School for a cherry tasting experience filled with the warmth of summer.
This delicious experience involves an evening of tempting cherries, talks and tasting! Hosted by an expert in the field, you'll learn all about British cherries, discovering how to preserve them, how to cook them to create delicious dishes and how to put together scrumptious sauces to make the best of the season's bounty!
Join in a quiz with a prize and partake in lots of tastings. If you love cherries, this is definitely the tasting experience for you! You'll head home with lots of new knowledge on British-grown cherries and a selection of recipes for creating cherry-tastic dishes.
During your tasting experience, you'll have the chance to buy some sweet and savoury treats made by Harts Barn chef, Joe Parke. Alongside some perusing of the finest cherry creations, the Cooking School's bar will be open for you if you'd like to indulge in a glass of something delicious! If the weather is fine, the fire pit will be lit so get ready for a heart-warming evening full of fine flavours.

Harts Barn Cookery School is all about cooking for all – all ages and skill levels are catered for, and we teach everything from banquets to basics!
We provide a huge range of regular classes, workshops, supper clubs and events plus we welcome group bookings, parties, corporate and private hire. All classes offer a hands-on element and focus on gaining practical skills and knowledge as well as being enjoyable!
We view cooking as an essential life skill. Our ethos of ‘cooking for all’ means that we offer classes that are accessible, practical, affordable, give confidence and are lots of fun. We believe in the ‘socialisation’ of food, bringing people together whether they are learning a new skill in the kitchen or sitting down and enjoying the soiree! As well as cookery classes we run regular events, pop up restaurants, a Hire-A-Chef service, and provide parties, corporate packages, chef demos and have a wonderful earth oven, fire pit and large courtyard area for outdoor cooking experiences.
