Led by friendly artist Gabriela, you'll learn to create a design by applying beautiful metal leaf onto the back of your coasters or inside your tealight holders. You can choose from imitation gold, silver, copper, or metallic red leaf or use two or more finishes to create a unique, eye-catching design.
Gabriela will teach you the tricky art of applying metal leaf to glass and guide you through the design process, so don't worry if you're not usually the crafty type. This workshop is beginner-friendly and perfect for anyone looking for fun things to do in London over Christmas.
You'll finish this London craft class with a bespoke set of seasonal coasters or tealights to take home and a potential new hobby to enjoy!

Gabriela is an artist and maker. She creates pictures, decorative objects, greeting cards and jewellery with images inspired by memory, nostalgia and a love of everything vintage.
Her work is often humorous and whimsical – unless her romantic side takes over and then you enter into a fairy-tale territory of old-fashioned script, pages of books and music scores populated by chivalrous gentlemen, glamorous ladies, butterflies and rabbits. She blends a fusion of painting and digital media – acrylic, watercolour and ink with digital print – onto paper and canvas to create a wide range of work.
In addition to her own creative endeavours, she is passionate about inspiring other people and sharing her skills, so she devotes a good portion of her time to teaching.
