Looking for a totally different DIY craft that will get your creative juices flowing? Want a fun and colourful day out in London? Try this glass and paper craft workshop where you will upcycle a plate into a beautiful piece of art.

We will be using reverse decoupage to transform a glass dish into something really special. You will learn to apply layers of paper "upside-down" and build them into a one-off design: your own work of art on a plate!

Your talented teacher, Gabriela, will guide you through some easy steps and is there to answer any questions. Rummage through her extensive collection of unique papers and decorations and get inspired.

This craft workshop provides all the materials you need including the glass dish. You'll learn some interesting tips and tricks including how to apply layers of thin paper to a glass surface. You'll even be able to use the glass dish for food as we apply the paper to the back and then seal it with a waterproof adhesive.

If you want some stress-busting activities in London that will tickle your imagination this is it!

Gabriela is an artist and maker. She creates pictures, decorative objects, greeting cards and jewellery with images inspired by memory, nostalgia and a love of everything vintage.

Her work is often humorous and whimsical – unless her romantic side takes over and then you enter into a fairy-tale territory of old-fashioned script, pages of books and music scores populated by chivalrous gentlemen, glamorous ladies, butterflies and rabbits. She blends a fusion of painting and digital media – acrylic, watercolour and ink with digital print – onto paper and canvas to create a wide range of work.

In addition to her own creative endeavours, she is passionate about inspiring other people and sharing her skills, so she devotes a good portion of her time to teaching.
