Use metallic foiling to print fabulous t-shirts, unique fabrics, beautiful cushions and lots of other creative DIY projects. This textile art class is a great way to unleash your inner artist in London.

Foiled fabrics are washable, long-lasting and very easy to hand-make at home. It's also a stunning way to embellish your sewing and embroidery work. You will be able to choose from gold, silver, copper and coloured foils.

Your talented teacher, Gabriela, will show how to use stencil, stamps and painting to create a fabric that shines. As well as guiding you through the technical process, she will help you design compositions that work well. You will be able to choose from gold, silver and copper coloured foils.

This craft workshop is ideal for beginners and the more experienced crafter who wants to add a new technique to their repertoire. This is particularly useful for those into clothesmaking or any textile design.

You will leave your session with your own reference samples, a new skill, and fond memories of being creative and meeting fellow craft lovers like you. This is a perfect day out in London for those looking to get artsy and love all things metallic.

You are welcome to bring your own fabric, and Gabriela will advise you on their suitability.

Everything taught can be repeated at home, so get ready to be inspired!

Gabriela is an artist and maker. She creates pictures, decorative objects, greeting cards and jewellery with images inspired by memory, nostalgia and a love of everything vintage.

Her work is often humorous and whimsical – unless her romantic side takes over and then you enter into a fairy-tale territory of old-fashioned script, pages of books and music scores populated by chivalrous gentlemen, glamorous ladies, butterflies and rabbits. She blends a fusion of painting and digital media – acrylic, watercolour and ink with digital print – onto paper and canvas to create a wide range of work.

In addition to her own creative endeavours, she is passionate about inspiring other people and sharing her skills, so she devotes a good portion of her time to teaching.
