At the end of this upcycling workshop, you'll be able to take home your special decoupage creation. Not only will you leave with a new and improved piece of furniture for your home, but you'll also leave with some newfound decoupage and upcycling skills for future creations!

Please note:

Gabriela is an artist and maker. She creates pictures, decorative objects, greeting cards and jewellery with images inspired by memory, nostalgia and a love of everything vintage.

Her work is often humorous and whimsical – unless her romantic side takes over and then you enter into a fairy-tale territory of old-fashioned script, pages of books and music scores populated by chivalrous gentlemen, glamorous ladies, butterflies and rabbits. She blends a fusion of painting and digital media – acrylic, watercolour and ink with digital print – onto paper and canvas to create a wide range of work.

In addition to her own creative endeavours, she is passionate about inspiring other people and sharing her skills, so she devotes a good portion of her time to teaching.

Just return home from this course which far exceed my expectations. Gabriela was knowledge and her work is amazing, she is such a great teacher, she took the extra time so that I could complete my piece of furniture only small bits to do at home but she gave me the paper napkin to take home to complete. She thought me different techniques and I was really inspired to improve just by looking at her work dotted everywhere in the studio. Honesty 10/10 is my score and now looking forward to put into practice what I've learnt and to go back to do the glass decoupage! Thank you Gabriela

Gabriella was very inspiring with her work which she had all around the studio. She taught the class very well with a calm and ease about her, she paid attention to the individual needs of each of us, and was encouraging but also allowed us to find our own designs based on our own likes/dislikes. She was so very friendly and it was overall an incredibly enjoyable day! Highly recommend! Great aftercare too with advice on where to pick up some good tools and equipment for decoupage! I'm now addicted!
