I’m Jane and I am 100% passionate about crafting – you name it, I have most probably tried it. I set up Tea and Crafting, a bricks and mortar workshop venue in Covent Garden, in 2009, as I wanted to share my love of all things crafty and show people how, that a lot of these crafts are easier to learn than you think, without the need to commit to a six-week course that can be difficult to fit into a busy lifestyle. I wanted to provide affordable classes that were effortless and fun to attend.
I believe that anyone and everyone can craft and that you don't need to be exceptional at a craft for it to have enormous positive effects on well being. Alongside a team of expert crafters I am proud to still be passing on these crafty skills 12 years later!

Punch Needle Embroidery at Home

We really enjoyed it! Maddie made it really easy to understand and she was extremely patient. I feel so confident now that I can try this alone. The whole event was wonderfully organised and the relaxing tea bag was such a lovely extra. We will definitely try more classes!

Michelle has been fantastic. We all have learnt the basics of watercolours (mixing colours, how to draw basic shapes, blending, etc) and lots of motivation to encourage us to continue painting this beautiful technique. Time went so quickly and everyone enjoy the class. Thank you very much

English Paper Piecing Patchwork
Very friendly and engaging tutor. Came out with a nice flower to either extend or sew onto something, and the skills and confidence to move forward with a project on my own.

Really enjoyed the class, although would have been better still if there had been more chat amongst the participantsmaybe if everyone had the opportunity to introduce themselves before the class started it would have helped encourage everyone to chat.

Although there were a few technical difficulties initially and problems with postage, none of these were under Tea and Crafting's control and they truly went above and beyond to make sure we had our wool on time. The class itself was wonderful, the teacher made sure to move at pace that was comfortable for everyone and really made the class enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this as a great lockdown activity!
