An ideal introduction to screen printing, this craft class in central London gives you the chance to make your own uniquely designed tote bag.
Using simple and uncomplicated methods you will learn how to print a design you choose onto fabric like the professionals. Learning to screenprint gives you the ability to customise just about any piece of clothing or interior item!
During your workshop, your expert textile tutor will provide you with lots of inspiration on designs for your tote bag as well giving you plenty of tips and advice for taking this technique further at home.
You'll be shown how to create your own screen printing process to use at home and you'll learn how to use your screen to screen print onto paper as well as fabric.
The inks used in this London screen printing class are vegan friendly.
By the end of your workshop, you'll have your own screen printed item to take away with you, as well as a host of valuable screen printing skills to continue your crafting at home.

I’m Jane and I am 100% passionate about crafting – you name it, I have most probably tried it. I set up Tea and Crafting, a bricks and mortar workshop venue in Covent Garden, in 2009, as I wanted to share my love of all things crafty and show people how, that a lot of these crafts are easier to learn than you think, without the need to commit to a six-week course that can be difficult to fit into a busy lifestyle. I wanted to provide affordable classes that were effortless and fun to attend.
I believe that anyone and everyone can craft and that you don't need to be exceptional at a craft for it to have enormous positive effects on well being. Alongside a team of expert crafters I am proud to still be passing on these crafty skills 12 years later!
