Feel like getting creative? Come along and discover a new hobby at this fun and friendly punch needle class.
Punch needling is a cross between embroidery and rag rug latch hooking.
It's ideal for beginner crafters as it's an easy skill to learn – perfect if you need fun things to make and want a DIY craft to keep your hands busy at home.
In this class, you will learn how to punch needle and create two different effects at the same time with your tool. One side is flat stitches, and the other side has a loopy shaggy look. You can mix and match these effects on the same side for added dimension and texture.
Throughout the class, you'll be encouraged to enjoy this craft as mindful meditation so that you can relax and let your worries melt away.
This punch needle class is also suitable for all ages – you can easily do it with children as the tool is not too sharp and it's a wonderful craft for children to take part in.
By the end of this craft class, you'll have a beautiful punch needle creation to call your own!
What you'll get
  • A punch needle tool.
  • Fabric needed to punch successfully.
  • A round hoop.

Hey, I’m Jane, and I’m obsessed with all things crafty! If it involves glue, yarn, paint, or paper—chances are, I’ve tried it. I started Tea and Crafting back in 2009 as a cosy, welcoming workshop space in Covent Garden because I wanted to share my love of crafting with everyone.
I totally get that life is busy, so I made it my mission to offer fun, relaxed, and totally doable craft workshops—no six-week commitment required! Just pop in, get creative, and walk away with something amazing (even if you think you're “not crafty”).
Fast forward 12 years, and I’m still here, sharing the magic of making alongside a fantastic team of expert crafters. Because honestly? Crafting isn’t just about being good at it—it’s about the joy, the creativity, and that unbeatable feel-good factor. So, come craft with us! ️
