As well as those hip girls and guys you see knitting on the train, there's a pack of crafty stars getting in on the needle action too (if it's good enough for Madonna...!). If you're feeling out of the loop with the world of knitting, then we’re happy to show you how.
Join this chilled out class to learn to knit with the guidance of an expert knitting teacher. You'll learn all the basics including knit and purl stitch, how to cast on and cast off, stocking stitch and garter stitch. Its jam packed with all the knitting goodies you will need.
Join this craft class for beginners solo and meet like-minded others as you begin your knitting journey, or come along with your friends or loved ones and learn to knit together. It's a brilliant activity if you're looking for fun things to do in London and want to add some creative abilities to your bow.
After two and a half hours of knitting and nattering, you'll feel like a knitting pro! You'll go home with all the knowledge you need to top up your newfound knitting skills independently and get practising. Hey, I’m Jane, and I’m obsessed with all things crafty! If it involves glue, yarn, paint, or paper—chances are, I’ve tried it. I started Tea and Crafting back in 2009 as a cosy, welcoming workshop space in Covent Garden because I wanted to share my love of crafting with everyone.
I totally get that life is busy, so I made it my mission to offer fun, relaxed, and totally doable craft workshops—no six-week commitment required! Just pop in, get creative, and walk away with something amazing (even if you think you're “not crafty”).
Fast forward 12 years, and I’m still here, sharing the magic of making alongside a fantastic team of expert crafters. Because honestly? Crafting isn’t just about being good at it—it’s about the joy, the creativity, and that unbeatable feel-good factor. So, come craft with us! ️
