- 3/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Oct 2023: The teacher was nice and my partner and I were keen to learn how to make the clay lamp. But we found the evening very disorganised and the teacher was very frantic. This didn’t make for a relaxing activity at all as her stressed energy impacted the teaching. We had agreed to the class being rescheduled twice previously so the level of disorganisation was a surprise. We also didn’t appreciate learning the reason for one of the rescheduled classes was so the teacher could attend a party. We also didn’t know in advance that you don’t leave with a finished product, and have to do a fair bit at home afterwards. We had to carry all the bits home without much protection for the items we’d made in class and the wet/soft clay was smooshed and damaged on the way home which took some time to repair ourselves. Again, the teacher was nice, but for the price (which was expensive given how much we had to do ourselves outside of the class), we were overall a bit disappointed. They did provide prosecco and (box-made) cupcakes, and a little extra paint as a gesture of thanks for rescheduling, which was nice. I would have preferred to leave the feedback privately but can’t see that option here.
