Join Norman's masterclass and embark on a delightful culinary journey through the vibrant flavours of Malaysian cuisine. In this 2.5-hour class, Norman will be your expert guide, teaching you the secrets and techniques behind creating delicious Malaysian dishes.

Menu:

  • Roti Jala Net Pancake
  • Authentic Seafood Laksa
  • Mango Salad
  • Chicken Curry for serving with Net Pancake (Demo)

The students will learn how to prepare laksa paste from scratch using herbs and spices.

Please note that this masterclass is part of 'Cook & Donate' Event and all the profits made including tutor's fee will be donated to the Jepun Indonesia in UK Charity, donating the food supplies to the single mothers and children in Indonesia.

Born in Penang, Malaysia, Norman was hailed by CNN as one of Malaysia's most famous exports, he was featured in Masterchef Malaysia, BBC’s Tom Kerridge Best Ever Dishes and Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch and has been on numerous magazines in UK and Malaysia. He teaches Malaysian and South-east Asian cuisines at the top cookery schools in the UK and Netherlands, as well as being the co-creator and tutor for Wagamama Chef Academy.

YUI MILES - Thai Cuisine
Yui comes from a strong Thai family where cooking and eating have always been a focal point of family life. She has followed her heart and passion for authentic Asian cuisine showcasing her dishes on BBC’s MasterChef UK 2019 as a quarterfinalist, the winner on ICG (Inspiring Culinary Generations) national cookery competition 2020. She also appeared on Channel 4’s cooking game show called ‘Beat the Chef’ where she beats the chef with Thai dishes and won. Her first cookbook called ‘Thai Made Easy’ was recently released in September 2023.

Food/Recipe Content creator specialising in Authentic and Indian fusion dishes, he loves to take the classics and spice them up with his own twist. Has a real passion to teach people how to cook authentic Indian food with fresh ingredients and amazing spices in a fun and entertaining way.

UYEN LUU - Vietnamese Cuisine
Uyen Luu is the cookbook author of Vietnamese, Vietnamese Vegetarian and Quick & Easy Vietnamese published by Hardie Grant. She works as a food photographer for various commercial brands and editorials, she trained at Central St Martins College Of Art.

At the weekends, she runs her Vietnamese supper club and Vietnamese cooking classes, cooked by her and her family. They have been going since 2009. She lives in North London with her family and writes substacks and books.
