Join us for a relaxing evening with terracotta clay and get hands-on in this beginner-friendly pottery class.

What you'll do
On the night, our friendly ceramic tutor will demonstrate and guide you through all the skills you need to make a unique spiral bowl. They will show you special pottery techniques to help you build interesting spirals and patterns, so that you will feel confident making your own professional-looking bowl - can be for functional ware!
At the end of the night, you will leave your pieces at the studio to be bisque-fired and dipped in a glaze of your choice, which will be posted within 4 weeks.
This mindful session is a great way to catch up with friends or colleagues while making an artistic bowl to keep. Come and discover the therapeutic joy of clay!
For private bookings, we can also arrange to come to your venue. Please note it is £54 per person for a 2-2.5-hour workshop, plus travel expenses. We are flexible with timing; day, evening, or weekend, according to availability.

What you'll get
· Professional tools and materials and aprons are provided. Firing, glazing, and postage are all included in the ticket cost.· Refreshments including a glass of wine/bottle of beer if desired, unlimited tea and coffee, soft drinks, and nibbles.
· Your finished spiral bowl will be carefully wrapped and posted to you within one month. The postage box is 180 x 220 x 80cm.

Art4Space has over 20 years experience with mosaic and the creative industry. They have secured over 350 commissions including The Shard, Silver at Royal Hampton Court Show, Leytonstone Tube Station, London's longest mosaic and London largest school mosaic. You will be taught by one of the directors or leading artist (Julie, Natti and John). Art4Space is an award winning not-for-profit social enterprise founded and run by professional artists. They put visual art at the center of everything they do, connect and enhance communities and inspire individuals through creativity.
