In this two-and-a-half-hour practical silver jewellery making workshop you will learn the basics of making silver jewellery, using sterling silver and all the tools of the trade.Hosted by a local expert crafter, you'll learn each step to making your ring, from sizing to hammering, adding texture as you go for a wholly unique finish. You'll enjoy practical demonstrations and hands-on experience as you learn more about what goes into making silver jewellery.During the class, you'll learn how to:
- Thread a piercing saw
- Size your rings
- How to cut your ring to size
- Solder using a blow torch
- Shape using a hammer and mandrel
- File and finish
- Add detail and texture
