What you'll do
If you're looking for a creative workshop and learning glazing techniques, look no further than this pottery painting and glazing experience.
Supported by a friendly experienced tutor from Art4Space, you will explore colour, texture, and pattern by applying paint on-glazes to bisque ware. Stamp, sponge, stencil and paint your way to beautiful glazed ceramic.
You can create up to 3 finished pieces and our set of dishes is very popular. The results are stunning! You receive your posted creations within a month, imagine the magical moment when you open your box to reveal the results!
The popular venue is our stunning Art4Space community arts centre, which is an inclusive, supportive, respectful, welcoming, and safe space for everyone. Proceeds go towards our community art projects providing vulnerable individuals with mental health support in deprived areas in Lambeth, London.
You are welcome to come with your own ideas during the mindful 2.5 hours of painting with the full support of an experienced tutor to help you realise your creative design ideas. No experience is necessary as the session is beginner-friendly as well for the more advanced participants.
For private bookings, we can also arrange to come to your venue and please note it is £54 per person for 2-2.5-hour workshop, plus travel expenses. We are flexible with timing; day, evening or weekend, according to availability.

Knowledge required
This class is for all levels, it is an adult class for age 16+ (Younger people can join if with an adult. We recommend it is suitable for over 14’s with an adult)
What you'll get
· Professional tools and materials. Aprons are provided. Firing, glazing, and postage are all included in the ticket cost. · Refreshments including a glass of wine/bottle of beer if desired, unlimited tea and coffee, soft drinks, and nibbles.
· Your finished glazed and fired pottery will be carefully wrapped and posted to you within one month. The postage box is 180 x 220 x 80cm

Your teacher
Art4Space has over 20 years experience with mosaic and the creative industry. They have secured over 350 commissions including The Shard, Silver at Royal Hampton Court Show, Leytonstone Tube Station, London's longest mosaic and London largest school mosaic. You will be taught by one of the directors or leading artist (Julie, Natti and John). Art4Space is an award winning not-for-profit social enterprise founded and run by professional artists. They put visual art at the center of everything they do, connect and enhance communities and inspire individuals through creativity.
