What you'll do

Upgrade your sewing skills in no time with the help of this expert sewing tutorial. This is designed in an online webinar format, giving you the opportunity to watch a live demonstration of the project while also being able to ask any questions.

This tutorial focuses on how to make a timeless dog coat that your four-legged friend will love. You’ll be able to learn the simple techniques in no time, and you can even craft along throughout.

Follow along to discover how to lay and pin a pattern, as well as cut out the pieces. You’ll also learn how to sew seams and turn simple shapes into a classic dog coat. You’ll soon master how to make easy work of sewing a curve and trimming seams to make a neat edge. Finally, enjoy tips on how to sew in an hook and loop fastening.

Join the session for £5 without a craft kit if you wish to use your own materials, or you can access the full craft kit to support the tutorial for £25. The format allows you to ask questions via a chat function within Zoom, which will be answered by another Artisan during the tutorial without disrupting the demonstration.
