Sketching Class – Three Designs Available

Learn different sketching techniques over the course of an hour, from creating your outline to adding 3D details.

What you'll do
This is a fantastic opportunity to get develop your sketching skills, guided by one of our expert Hobbycraft Artisans. You can choose to follow along with your own materials or book any of the three classes available with a craft kit included.
Top Tip: You only need to purchase the craft kit once as the materials included will cover all three of the designs available.
The classes will take an online webinar format, you the opportunity to watch a live demonstration of the project while also being able to ask any questions. The host will lead you through different techniques over the course of an hour, from creating your outline to adding 3D details.
You’ll be shown all the steps required, but you can finish working on your own sketch at any pace you choose.
Three Designs Available:
3D Butterfly
Hone your sketching skills with our latest class, introducing you to the skills you’ll need to draw a 3D butterfly. From creating your outline to using a blending stump to shade, this is a great way to master 3D sketching.
Blue Tits
Sketch these beautiful birds, learning how to outline, blend and tone to create a more textured feather effect finish.
Beach
Learn how to create light and shade using a range of different pencils, plus discover how a putty rubber can help you highlight for an impactful finish. You will prepare your beach scene with masking tape to ensure a clean finished frame around the final artwork. Once removed, it will be ready to show off in your home!
