My one to one session was fantastic. The session was led by a lovely, patient young man who led me through the stage of the pattern at which I was stuck. I was taught the techniques I needed and how to read the pattern, but better still I was taught alternative, easier methods of what was required in the pattern and came away with written instructions as a back-up. Thank you.

However I was disappointed you did not have a customer toilet, which I needed as I had been out all morning. I was directed to go to Costa - I think that was a bit cheeky (unless you had an agreement with them?). However there were codes on the doors and signs everywhere saying Customer Toilets Only. I was most uncomfortable with this situation. I drove home reflecting not on what I had learnt in the morning, but this awkward situation.

We covered all the basics that I would need to get started and she provided me with some really useful resources, as well as personalising my class based on the notes I sent beforehand, by incorporating circular needles as well. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hobbycraft workshops!

She taught me the different types of stitches that I would need to know to complete my chosen project. I have never knitted before and with Ellie I was able to learn knit stitch, purl stitch and casting on and off. I brought some wool to continue practicing before I start my project, looking forward to continuing to learn.

I already had very basic knitting skills and Sue helped me with a complicated knitting pattern on 4 needles.

Chloe is very patient and explained the casting on and both stitches in clear and easy to follow steps and instructions. I als really appreciated she turned down the volume of the TV in the workshop are, so there were no background noises. I can highly recommend sitting down with Chloe for all your knitting questions. Absolutely FABULOUS!

The teacher was friendly and helpful and I learned how to carry out the technique. I decided however that the pattern I was using was a little to complicated for me and the teacher helped me to pick out another which would give me a very similar result. Very pleased with the session. Although I didn't carry on with the project as intended I was able to find an alternative which I will be able to complete. Thank you
