The only experience you need before joining the class is knowing how to do a chain and a treble crochet stitch. With just these basic skills, I was able to follow along and make a granny square that I was really happy with. I had a great time!

Our teacher Scooby was excellent, I’ve been on another crochet course with her before and I can honestly say that she is attentive, gives clear instructions, will adapt a stitch/technique so that you can achieve and feel proud of what you have made. I tool this class with my daughter (adult) and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. There were just 3 of us which worked out perfectly, We learned lots of essentail tips and tricks and ended up buying more wool and crocheting all weekend at home! The kits are provided so you do not need to bring anything which made the experience all the more stress free and enjoyable. Definitely worth the money and wiould suit all ages from very young to old if they have a basic crochet knowledge.

You do need to have some basic crochet experience to get the most out of this session. I left feeling much more confident to tackle various granny square patterns. Totally worth the price as you get excellent tutoring and a bag with two balls of yarn and crochet hook.

We all produced a granny square. Might be nice if we could choose the yarn colours as the two provided, whilst good for practice, are not what would choose.

She was very patient, thorough and encouraging all the way through the process. I managed to make nearly 2 squares in the time which looked like they were supposed to! We were given 2 balls of yarn, a hook and instructions to take away in a tote bag. I would certainly think about extending my crochet knowledge. Thank you, Jacqui.
