5.0 (1)I first learnt to crochet as a child and spent hours and hours making, sewing, knitting and learning every new technique possible in art, craft and design. After a degree in graphics and 16 years of experience teaching Textiles, Graphics, Art & Design and Design & Technology, I strongly believe in developing my own practice to be the best tutor I can be. I am continually inspired by my students of all ages, so it's definitely a two-way street!

The 5 day bookbinding retreat with Rachel Ellen was fantastic. I enjoyed absolutely every minute of it and would do more and more again if I could. The studio is set up really well, absolutely everything I needed was there. Rachel was a fabulous teacher: patient, kind, encouraging, made sure that everything I wanted to do was possible - and so much more besides! I stayed in the caravan, perfect, can't fault it.
