What you'll do
Dip your toes into the world of crochet for the first time or increase your confidence and skill level with this series of six online classes. A craft kit is provided to get you started and you'll get plenty of advice and support throughout.
Using the beginner crochet kit, you will go from learning the basics and making crochet items to exploring more complex and decorative stitches.
With the intermediate kit, you will end the course knowing you you can read, adjust and write patterns, use complex stitches and will have explored different types of crochet like corner to corner and intarsia.
There's time between each virtual crochet class to practice and complete your crochet projects. In no time you'll be hooked! Organise the session at times that suit you and your teacher is always available in between to help and answer questions.

I first learnt to crochet as a child and spent hours and hours making, sewing, knitting and learning every new technique possible in art, craft and design. After a degree in graphics and 16 years of experience teaching Textiles, Graphics, Art & Design and Design & Technology, I strongly believe in developing my own practice to be the best tutor I can be. I am continually inspired by my students of all ages, so it's definitely a two-way street!
