What you'll do
Take the first step on your pewter casting journey without even leaving your home. This series of exercises is the equivalent of a full day course including making time and will enable you to feel confident enough in the process to keep making afterwards.
Work at your own pace using detailed, clear demonstration videos that show you the process step by step. You can pause, skip or re-watch to your heart's content! The DIY kit provided ensures that you'll not only have everything you need for the virtual course but also enough supplies to be able to carry on afterwards too.
All your materials and tools are included as well as all the pre-recorded video tutorials that you will need.
This exciting process involves making and using moulds, melting and pouring the pewter, finishing and polishing your design, and turning it into jewellery. By the end of your at-home craft activity, you will have completed four to six pieces in a variety of techniques, finishes and styles.

- Scrap piece of wood.

I first learnt to crochet as a child and spent hours and hours making, sewing, knitting and learning every new technique possible in art, craft and design. After a degree in graphics and 16 years of experience teaching Textiles, Graphics, Art & Design and Design & Technology, I strongly believe in developing my own practice to be the best tutor I can be. I am continually inspired by my students of all ages, so it's definitely a two-way street!
