What you'll do
Over six rewarding hours, you will design and laser your own pieces whilst exploring a range of materials. You will have the opportunity to work in 2D, relief and 3D! You are sure to be very impressed and proud of everything you create in this unique class.
No need to have any experience with the software or form of art, your friendly teacher will guide you every step of the way. The laser cutter does all the hard work for you, and you'll come away with precision work that has come from just your imagination.
By the end of this class, you will walk away with a range of exciting pieces, all delicately cut by laser. This addictive craft is a joy with mind-blowing options and possibilities!
This craft class involves learning to
- Use drawing software (CAD) to create designs.
- Set up and send jobs to the Laser.
- Experiment with different materials and thicknesses that can be lasered.
- Post laser finish and construction of any multi-component pieces / 3D.
Please note: If you are a group of 2-4, your class will be held in the lovely Severn Studio. If in a group of 5-20, you'll be in a larger studio close by.

After a degree in graphics and 16 years of experience teaching Textiles, Graphics, Art & Design and Design & Technology, I strongly believe in developing my own practice to be the best tutor I can be. I am continually inspired by my students of all ages, so it's definitely a two-way street!
