What you'll do
Ignite your passion for silver jewellery making in a relaxing workshop set in the surrounding beauty of the Shropshire Hills. With a maximum of four students per course, you'll have plenty of individual attention and time to create your own beautiful DIY jewellery.
This workshop is an opportunity to experience the joy of creating your own silver treasures that you can wear with pride or even give as a handmade gift to a loved one. Silver clay is a rewarding material that is sure to leave you impressed with the results.
You'll have the chance to choose from four different styles and techniques of making your ring, each one focusing on the manipulation, joining, and decorating of silver clay.
Even if you are new to working with silver clay, you'll be guided through the basics with a pendant project before moving on to your ring. If you already have experience with silver clay, you'll be able to jump right in and possibly complete a second piece as well.
If you have an idea of what you'd like to create during the ring making course, feel free to reach out to your teacher in advance for guidance and tips to make the most of the workshop time.

I first learnt to crochet as a child and spent hours and hours making, sewing, knitting and learning every new technique possible in art, craft and design. After a degree in graphics and 16 years of experience teaching Textiles, Graphics, Art & Design and Design & Technology, I strongly believe in developing my own practice to be the best tutor I can be. I am continually inspired by my students of all ages, so it's definitely a two-way street!
