What you'll do
Dip your toes into the world of polymer clay and discover all of its wonderful possibilities with this beginner-friendly introduction. Led by a friendly teacher, you will learn how to make unique pieces of jewellery using this versatile material.
Over the course of three hours, you will explore rolling, cutting, forming and moulding clay to create shapes and designs. You'll then move on to baking and finishing the pieces with findings and adhesives to craft your DIY jewellery.
You'll be able to make a number of items during the jewellery-making workshop which could include pendants, earrings, rings, keyrings and more. Class sizes are kept to a maximum of four, so you can be sure there's plenty of time to receive individual support as you make your own jewellery.
Make beautifully simple pieces, or develop your technique and craft intricate, more complex designs. You'll go home with whatever you make and all the skills you need to continue at home as a hobby or even as a business!

I first learnt to crochet as a child and spent hours and hours making, sewing, knitting and learning every new technique possible in art, craft and design. After a degree in graphics and 16 years of experience teaching Textiles, Graphics, Art & Design and Design & Technology, I strongly believe in developing my own practice to be the best tutor I can be. I am continually inspired by my students of all ages, so it's definitely a two-way street!
