  • 5/5 from Harold Bourne, attended Aug 2026: I had a great time under Holly's and Eva's guidance. I made a Lilly and as I had a bit of time left over I made a jellyfish too. Amazing to see how you can mix colours, bend and shape the glass into it's desired form. Even adjusting something was as simple as heating it up and bending into position. Would definitely recommend the experience to anyone wanting to make something different and unique.
  • 5/5 from Samantha Gipson, attended Aug 2026: Teachers were encouraging and friendly as well as safety conscious. I made a glass flower which I really enjoyed and although I need more practice it was a good start for a beginner. I liked the prior information and the thorough directions for finding the venue. Would recommend and will definitely go back again.
  • 5/5 from Cariss Tsui, attended Aug 2026: This class was great (even if it was slightly harder than we thought) and the teacher was super helpful. We had a small class so the experience was really personal and we did not feel rushed at all. Our projects were packaged so nicely at the end and our flowers were put in a pot which finished the whole look.

  • 5/5 from Janice Hobbs, attended Aug 2026: Very well organised. Tip: have a look at the Fire Petal Insta to get an idea of what you will be making as deciding what to create was the trickiest part. We went for cactuses and Iris flowers. The instructors Holly and Hannah were so helpful and encouraging. We never felt we were just left to work it out on our own.
  • 5/5 from Kim-Jaye McCaffer, attended Jul 2026: Had a wonderful time in the 2 hour workshop with Meg as our teacher. Great demonstration and advice given throughout. Takes some time to get the hang of so I would recommend 2 hours or more when you book. Studio was easy to find and there was a range of equipment and colours to choose from. Really pleased about there being AC in the studio!!
  • 5/5 from Serena Iovieno, attended Jul 2026: Definitely recommend the 2hr slot but the teachers were very hands on and helped a bunch. Overall lovely experience :)
  • 5/5 from Katy Young, attended Jul 2026: This was a great experience I had the privilege of being the only one in the class so I had the sole attention of the very lovely and helpful Megan I now have a beautiful little flowering tree!
  • 5/5 from Dorinda Foxley, attended Jul 2026: A really enjoyable afternoon. The instructions were easy to follow, there was plenty of encouragement, and I loved being able to choose my own colours.
  • 5/5 from Viveca Lindholm, attended Jul 2026: I wasn't expecting to enjoy this as much as I did. It's surprisingly relaxing once you get into the rhythm of working with the glass, and taking home something you've made yourself makes it even more special. Made a Xmas tree poundly in the end.
  • 5/5 from Pandora Ellwood, attended Jul 2026: This was one of the best creative workshops I've attended. The studio was bright and welcoming, everything was well organised, and the pace was just right. Megan demonstrated each step clearly before letting us have a go ourselves, which gave me confidence without feeling rushed. The whole experience was rewarding, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique activity in London.
  • 5/5 from Maelys Bernard, attended Jul 2026: Brilliant experience from start to finish. I was a complete beginner, but the tutor made the whole process feel approachable. It was so satisfying seeing a simple glass rod turn into a flower.
  • 5/5 from Kenza Idrissi, attended Jul 2026: We came as a couple and had so much fun. Ella was fantastic—friendly, patient, and always happy to answer questions. It felt like everyone got plenty of individual attention, even with a full class.
  • 5/5 from Dasha Savanovich, attended Jul 2026: I had a great time at this workshop. I went for a early slot, which was a lot quieter and I could get a lot of help and feedback from the teacher. The studio is well stocked with different glass colours. There was ac and the setup was comfortable. There are a lot of inspirational examples to choose from. The teacher outlined which ones can be done in 1, 2 or 3 hours. They operate on a rolling schedule instead of having set class times, it seems. I had a longer session and during that time multiple groups started after me. I'll be coming back and recommended the workshop to friends!
  • 5/5 from Françoise Armanville, attended Jul 2026: Thanks for this moment and a big thanks for Anna! See you soon

  • 5/5 from Tiya Patel, attended Jul 2026: It was very interesting and we had a very patient teacher! She was so good and took us through the process step by step and helped us create a beautiful flower which I don’t think I could’ve created in my wildest dreams. I feel it’s definitely worth giving it a go. We are definitely considering going again for the 2 hour session.
  • 5/5 from Dhimple Patel, attended Jul 2026: We had the best time celebrating my sister birthday. Our instructor Meg was very knowledgeable and patient with us (absolute novice). We were absolutely delighted with the glass flower creation. I would highly recommend
  • 5/5 from Tina Tseng, attended Jul 2026: Teacher is very friendly and helpful. It’s our first time to make glass flowers, but we can get the skills easily! The results are amazing
  • 5/5 from Benjamin T Roberts, attended Jul 2026: Was very welcoming and the studio felt well equipped. Teacher was patient and gave good instructions.
  • 5/5 from Alexandra Megerdichian, attended Jul 2026: Loved the taster glass class at firepetal! The vibe was very welcoming and the teachers very patient and knowledgeable
  • 4/5 from Dorothy Fleri, attended Jul 2026: Enjoyed making a flower - got the hang of it quite quickly- though would still need more practice
  • 1/5 from Marianne Harris, attended Jul 2026: My nan attended the Bento Class Lampwork Glassmaking Creative Workshop, expecting an enjoyable and creative experience. Unfortunately, it turned into a very unpleasant experience that she is still dealing with three weeks later. During the workshop, my nan suffered an awful burn to her hand. What was particularly concerning was that she was not provided with any ice or appropriate immediate support for the injury. For a workshop involving hot glass and obvious safety risks, I would have thought basic first aid and appropriate care would be a fairly reasonable expectation — apparently not. The fact that the injury is still present three weeks later makes the whole situation even more disappointing. This was not simply a minor inconvenience that disappeared once she went home; she has continued to have the consequences of the injury weeks after attending. She also paid £100 for this workshop, which makes the experience even harder to justify. Paying that much money for an activity only to leave with a burn and feel that the injury was not properly dealt with is hardly what I would consider good value. Perhaps the organisers could consider making participant safety and aftercare slightly more of a priority in future. At £100 per person, I don't think that is an especially outrageous expectation. Overall, a deeply disappointing experience. I certainly wouldn't recommend it based on what happened to my nan.
  • 5/5 from Ryan Last-Harris, attended Jun 2026: Shaping glass was super fun and also very satisfying! Our teachers were also fantastic and very friendly. Highly recommend!
  • 5/5 from Nick Day, attended Jun 2026: We really enjoyed our class! The teacher was great and we loved being able to take back what we had made.
  • 5/5 from Ade Balogun, attended Jun 2026: We booked this last minute and I am so glad we did! Amazing class with really patient teachers. I was able to create a rose in 2 hours to take home.
  • 5/5 from Ann Kim, attended Jun 2026: Amazing experience and instructors!
  • 5/5 from Meron Mekonnen, attended Jun 2026: Loved the workshop and would do it again. The staff were friendly. The teacher was patient and informative. They had a fully equipped studio with a large selection of materials to choose from.
  • 5/5 from Silvia San Segundo, attended Jun 2026: We had a really nice experience trying lampwork glassmaking at FirePetal. The studio was well prepared for the heat wave and had portable air conditioning so it was an enjoyable experience. The glassmaking part was harder than expected. We booked a taster class of 1 hour and were able to make a very simple flower following the instructions. Next time I'll probably try a longer class to get the hang of working with glass. Nevertheless, the finished product was very nice and pretty and the teacher helped us getting a shorter stem and sturdy connections between the different pieces. To sum up, it is a great experience for a taster class and makes me want to do it again.
  • 4/5 from Emmanuel Panayi, attended Jun 2026: The class was good fun, the teachers were helpful and willing to show you different techniques on how to build the flower. The room itself was spacious and had AC which was great in this heat. I had a 1-hour session booked, which felt a bit rushed so would definitely book at least 2 hours in future. Only points for improvement: the countdown timers for the class started as soon as the technicians were showing you how to create the first piece of glass, instead of when you were given the chance to start creating yourself. It didn't eat up much time but with an experience like this where you need all the practice you can get, those extra minutes would have been nice. Also, it would've been good to be shown a visual guide of roughly what you were making within the session. As you enter the room, there are a few examples of flowers that'd been made previously, but no indicators as to how long they took - would be nice to see what you are working towards and how to achieve a specific look if you had one in mind. Great experience nonetheless!
