Firing and materials are £5 per piece. Choose from our blue, white or transparent glaze, and we’ll take care of the rest.

(Natural variations in glaze and texture are to be expected.)

Take Home Your Creations 🔥

Take Home Your Creations

We’ll fire and glaze your pieces, ready to collect in approximately 4–5 weeks. Finished pottery is food-safe, microwave-safe and oven-safe.

We’ll email you when your pieces are ready!

(As ceramics are handmade, natural variations in glaze, texture and size (approximately 15% shrinkage) are to be expected. In rare cases, pieces may crack or break during firing.)

FAQ

Do I need any previous pottery experience?
No. Our classes are beginner-friendly and no previous pottery experience is required.
What happens to my pottery after the class?
If you choose to keep your pieces, they will be fired and glazed in our kiln. Finished pieces are usually ready for collection 4–5 weeks after the class. We’ll email you when they’re ready, so please check your inbox and spam/junk folder
How long will you keep my finished pieces?
We can store your finished pieces for one month from the date of our collection email. Due to limited storage space, pieces not collected within this period may be disposed of.
See more FAQs
Will my pottery definitely survive the firing process?
While we take every care during the drying and firing process, ceramics are fragile and cracking, warping or breakage can sometimes occur. These are natural risks of working with clay, so we cannot guarantee that every piece will be successfully fired.
Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?
Bookings are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled or rescheduled, regardless of the reason. This includes illness, injury, transport delays, traffic, emergencies, work commitments, weather conditions or changes to personal circumstances.
What happens if I arrive late?
Please arrive 10 minutes before the class starts. If you arrive 30 minutes or more after the scheduled start time, we reserve the right to refuse entry. In this situation, no refund or rescheduling will be offered.
Can I bring my child?
Participants must be aged 11 or over. This is an adult-paced class, so participants aged 11–17 must be able to work independently. Please contact us if you have any questions before booking.
What happens if my class is cancelled by the studio?
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a class due to low bookings or circumstances beyond our control. We will always make every effort to provide as much notice as possible. Our usual no-refund/no-rescheduling policy does not apply when a class is cancelled by us.

  • 5/5 from Georgia, attended Apr 2026: This was such a fun, informative, inspiring class! The instructors were the perfect balance of helpful, knowledgable and encouraging - they give you the tools you need but also the space to experiment and go at your own pace. I was a complete beginner and I left with two pieces I was absolutely thrilled with. Couldn’t recommend this experience more!

  • 5/5 from Eva Valtara, attended Apr 2026: We booked the pottery making taster which was around 3.5 hours! Our teacher Rosa was great, really interactive course and easy to follow. We had Cherry and Nathalie helping as well who were brilliant at answering questions and assisting with the throwing part of the class. We definitely preferred the throwing part which was the majority of the time. The handmade part was also fun, but we clicked with the throwing more.
  • 5/5 from Lisa Cadwallader, attended Mar 2026: Ruby and her co-host in pottery delight were really brilliant - setting a tone balancing clear instructions, patience and support, and good fun and humour. The class wasn't too full, there was plenty of opportunity for 1:1 hands on help. It was a joy to learn something new in a beautiful studio.
  • 5/5 from Hui Shing Chong, attended Mar 2026: The deluxe taster class today was amazing! Rosa was a phenomenal teacher - she was great at explaining the steps of using the wheel and our hands/fingers, and getting into the details on not only what we are doing but the reason behind what we do so, everything make sense. I liked how the class paced and the whole vibe - it was easy going and a safe place for everyone to take part in. Even as a beginner and as someone who is not the most artistic, I never once felt left out or insecure. Rosa made the whole experience very fun and I cannot wait to see the outcome of my pottery. Shout out to Rosa, I couldn't ask for a better teacher!
  • 5/5 from Emma Wright, attended Mar 2026: This was so much fun! I got this as a birthday present and had the best time - we were taught how to use the wheel and then had time to make 3-4 pieces, which we could buy at the end of the class. The two teachers were really helpful and would fix things when they went wrong, and gave as much help as we wanted or needed. I’d go back in a heartbeat!

Everything was explained so well and the passion from the teachers was lovely. The studio is very nice and atmosphere of class was great. Everyone left having made something and was fun to be able to both try the wheel and do pinch pots too. I would highly recommend and a huge thank you to Nam and Cherry for your teaching and help. I’ll be recommending this intro class and intend to sign up to the beginners course soon.

  • 5/5 from Jennifer Parker, attended Feb 2026: My partner & I really enjoyed the taster workshop class. Rosa is a great, skilled tutor, with a relaxed teaching style and good pacing. We never felt rushed and both made multiple pieces. We were afraid the studio would be cold inside, but it was fine. Bonus: we got the Ghost movie song on the radio while we were throwing!
  • 5/5 from Ayesha Tyrell, attended Feb 2026: Hak was great and Cherry was efficient, granted I don’t believe Pottery is my true calling in life it was a good class w/ teacher led learning and ample time to create 2-3 pieces even for beginners. I stopped at one as it was pretty ugly anyway and I was cold. Only thing to note was yes the room is cold as it’s a warehouse type building so wrap up as only one of the two rows of stations had overhead heating, I didn’t notice til 2/3 of way through class and we were all on the unheated side, so would have been proactive of the teachers to just bring over some of the multiple heaters dotted around for the cold side without being asked but we move. No pictures as I was too cold to care at that point.

His work is dominated by thrown pieces that subtly echo the urban roots and conceptual design. Nam Tran first made pots as a teenager on a wheel in his own bedroom and remembers being captivated by the experience. With his unique alternatives methods and approach to ceramics, Nam Tran identifies rules and manipulates and bends them.
