The atmosphere is very friendly and chill. We learned a lot from Marina as a teacher armed with her “nose for the business”. She shared a lot of her wisdom and this is a great gift for people who would like to learn new things. At the end of the fun-filled two hours you get to go home with your own candle creation. Beautiful charming studio. The instructors Rosa, Cherie and Suzy were so helpful, fun and informative and struck the perfect balance between giving you independence and also stepping in if you wanted them to, to guarantee you came away with some pieces you were happy with. I surprised my partner with this class as a gift and he had a great time and is really excited to pick up our pieces once they'reBeautiful charming studio. This was a present for my best friends birthday and we had such a good time The teacher was amazing and really showed us how to make our pots and sat with us all individually and helped us and asked what exactly we wanted to make and helped us get there. Got this as a gift for my mum's birthday and we loved it! We highly recommend Amanda's class she's a great teacher very patient and encouraging. She explained the steps very clearly and was really attentive to us the whole time which made it possible for us to catch on quickly to this challenging skill and come out with two lovely pots which we are very proud and happy with. I bought this as a gift for my partner. As it transpired he was the only one booked for that session he had a 121 tutoring and he had an ABSOLUTELY amazing time. He came back buzzing and just said the teachers were so kind and helpful, he learned so much and it was an amazing experience. He was a bit nervous at first but the teachers made him feel so at ease. He ate the food he made with them as heI bought this as a gift for my partner. This was a Christmas present for my beloved husband. And I pretty happy I chose this master class. That was an amazing experience of trying something new so arty and elegant. Brandon is brilliant host very warm and welcoming. All instructions was clear and despite it was group class I would say it had very personal approach.

I got a gift to use at classbento and I chose mosaic workshop. The class was run by Giulia who was very talented in this art. I learnt how to cut the tiles to design a pattern. I was very happy how my end piece turned out and I will proudly display it in my house. Giulia’s studio was small but had enough room to run the workshop with 4 people and it was well equipped. Jeanette taught me some really nifty skills using Snapseed and Instagram and just the simple iPhone Camera on how to take great pictures. She was also very conscientious of time and teaching me as much as she could in the 2 hours we had available. She was also lovely company, very warm and friendly.
Overall, well worth the time and money, especially if you are a novice at food photography and editing. + more

This was such a great class! The venue was great and the teacher was lovely, she really took the time to make sure everyone was ok and understood what we were doing, and just as importantly, why. I really enjoyed it an I learnt so much. I would highly recommend this class, especially as a gift for someone. Very happy I went :)

Furoshiki Fusion Wrapping Workshop
My friend bought me a gift for my 60th birthday, which she told me had been wrapped by this guy recommended to her by a friend called Glen, who wraps gifts using traditional Japanese Furoshiki .
The gift was so exquisitely wrapped, I refused to open it at the party, favouring instead to show everyone just how beautifully wrapped the gift was.
Then, when the same friend told me that she had seen Glen's workshop advertised online , I booked straight away.
And boy, was I happy that I did.

The workshop was a great fun and Glen was very skilled in the art of Furoshiki, but also very patient, not just with me, but in giving all of us the personal attention needed to master what was being taught, in an easy to understand way.
Glen taught us 3 different styles of wrapping and provided us all with a large choice of beautiful African style fabrics, which can be used to wrapped any shape or size of gift, which I think will become very useful when I'm wrapping my Christmas presents.
At first, I did think the £45 pound was a little expensive for the class, but Glen had clearly put a lot of effort and care into his class, even providing us with his homemade lemonade, delicious, and an ample supply of Japanese snacks, I now don't think the price is expensive at all! + more

I couldn’t recommend a day at The Greenwood Guild more. Incredibly well organised class with a small group, including plenty of 1-1 guidance throughout the day. Everyone left with lots of new skills, and a hand carved bowl. Would also be a great gift for anyone. I’m looking forward to another workshop!

We had a great time at this course and would definitely recommend it! The instructions were very clear and we were given lots of feedback due to the size of the class. I got it for my boyfriend as a gift - we really enjoyed the evening and left feeling like we could definitely repeat the process ourselves. A fun experience all around!

I initially booked this class as a birthday present for my best friend, and it ended up being, I quote, "one of the best birthday gifts she had ever received". The prosecco was delicious, and our teacher, Abi, facilitated the nicest, most peaceful, and most encouraging evening (considering neither I nor my friend are visual artists). Abi started off the class by showing us basic techniques for painting with watercolour and then essentially left us to our own creativity, occasionally checking in to answer questions, share examples to inspire us,I initially booked this class as a birthday present for my best friend, and it ended up being, I quote, "one of the best birthday gifts she had ever received". The prosecco was delicious, and our teacher, Abi, facilitated the nicest, most peaceful, and most encouraging evening (considering neither I nor my friend are visual artists).
